About Empire Automations
A software company that runs like an operation.
Empire Automations was forged inside our own national facilities-management business. We built the engine to fix our own problems first, then began fitting it to other operators. Bespoke software, built by people who've actually run the work.
We build tools that automate the boring stuff so businesses can focus on what actually matters.
From documents to hours to cost control, our platform helps teams run smoother, faster, and with less overhead. No fluff, just operations, optimized.
Why we exist
Software shaped by the floor,
not the boardroom.
Forged in operations
Built inside a live national facilities-management business, every workflow earned its place on the floor first.
Built for operators
Designed by people who've actually run the work, for the people running it next. No theory, no fluff.
Bespoke, not boxed
We fit the engine to your operation, not the other way around. Your process stays yours, only faster.
What we build
"We build tools that automate the boring stuff so businesses can focus on what actually matters."
The surface area
One platform, one operating layer covering the everyday surface area where time and money leak out of a business.
The team
Built by operators.
Backed by real faces.
The people who run the platform, the operation it grew from, and the builds we ship for other operators.
A sister, a best mate of thirty years, two brothers, and a developer spotted at a site gate. We didn't assemble a team we already were one!!

Jaco Liebenberg
Co-Founder & Director
Jaco ran the problem before he solved it: a £4m national facilities-management business with contractors to chase, quotes to track and paperwork piling up. He built Empire Automations' first platforms to run his own companies, then started building them for other operators. He still runs four businesses a day, mostly by voice note.

Yogiraj Surti
Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor
Building systems that simplify complex operations into structured, technology-led workflows. With a decade across operations, technology, and business design, he helps organisations improve how they run and scale.

James Smith
Head of Business Development
James knows the pain first-hand. He ran sites, strip-outs and handbacks. Then became operations manager of Empire Interiors, drowning in the same chasing, spreadsheets and paperwork every operator knows. Then the first automations landed and gave him days of his week back. Now he heads business development, because nobody can demo the problem, or the fix, like someone who's had both.

Elsje du Plessis
Head of Operations
Ten years running the engine room of Empire Interiors: operations, invoicing, H&S, the inbox, and everyone on site. Elsje has done every job the platforms now automate, which makes her the harshest judge of every build we ship. This year, for the first time in a decade, she says she's on top of all of it. That sentence is the product.

Victor Botan
Head of Development
Victor spent four years on construction sites, from foundations to final finishes, teaching himself to code between shifts. We didn't find our Head of Development on a CV; Jaco spotted him at the site gate. Every platform he builds is shaped by having done the work it manages. He knows exactly what a job looks like when the plan and reality don't match.

Chris Steyn
Country Lead South Africa
Chris has known Jaco since 1993. Only family has known the founder longer. He came up through restaurants, where reading people at full speed on a Friday night is the whole job, and has been in sales ever since. Now he's opening South Africa for Empire Automations.
